Amish Crafted Rockers
Rockers were originally built to imitate a mother’s movements from the first nine months of a new baby’s life to a give them the comfort and safety they are used to. Rockers are the perfect first gift a baby receive. The benefit of an Amish made rocker is that it will not only serve the purpose or comforting a newborn but live as an heirloom serving generations of comfort. What can be better than being a perfect first gift to a baby than being a multi-generational first gift.
Amish Crafted Gliders
Some furniture is made simply for style and not necessarily comfort but Amish Crafted Gliders are made for your style with comfort a standard feature. Glider’s have a slight disadvantage from rockers by having moving parts but make up in pure bliss when floating on ball bearings. There is very little that compares to gliding while your feet glide in tandem on an ottoman.
Why Amish Crafted?
Our Oakland Padded Back Rocker is made from solid wood and sealed with a catalyzed varnish. Amish Crafted Furniture holds a high standard on quality by using only the finest Amish craftsman. The quality of our pieces is seen in the solid wood materials, mortise and tenon joinery, and catalyzed varnish. Every piece is handcrafted, hand stained, and hand delivered. see more
Rockers and Glider’s integrity for balance hinges on the balance of weight. Therefore changing the size will alter the motion because of how the weight is distributed. Typically the width can be changed without issue but when altering height and depth the rock can go too far in the front or back position possibly causing toppling.
